..my website. My name is Andy Clark and I was a primary school teacher in Plymouth, Devon until a couple of years ago. Then I took a medical retirement because of the arthritis which had already stopped my participation in sport generally but in particular, squash, cricket and football.

 

..the latter had stopped many years before, but even the odd five-a-side game with friends was now no longer an option.

 

..play the odd round of golf (when the weather is fine). The days of walking 15+ miles are long gone but a gentle stroll on Dartmoor can still be very pleasant, especially when combined with a real ale or two!

 

..history generally, more especially local & military history. I also like to follow developments at the cutting edge of physics; on both the very large and very small scales. These are interesting times!
